Time flies when you’re living abroad. Days turn into weeks turn into months quicker than you’d ever imagine. It’s easy to put off things you want to do until next week, but eventually you’ll glance at the calendar and realize you only have a few months of your contract left. It’s time for you to make a bucket list.
I’ve got various bucket lists for various aspects of my life. One for my entire life, one before I turn twenty five, one before I turn thirty, and one before I leave Korea; this is that one.
- Go bungee jumping
- Visit palaces in Seoul
- Go paragliding
- Visit Incheon
- Visit Busan for a weekend
Climb a mountain Visit the DMZ, step into North Korea
- Check out a traditional Korean village
- Sleep on the floor at a jimjilbang (Sauna)
- Conquer (or at least try really hard to conquer) an escape room
Party till the subway opens in Hongdae
- Do a photo shoot for fun
- Visit Everland
Stumble across an old neighbourhood in Seoul
Short and sweet. I could probably cross off most of these things in a month. I’m posting these to keep myself accountable. Let me know if there’s anything else I should add.
